Trust, explained simply
LockBox is designed with a familiar idea: sensitive content should live where you decide, not where a remote server does. The app focuses on local protections first.
On-device. No server by default.
Vault content is stored on your device. There is no requirement to upload your private
media to a remote service to use the core features.

Privacy approach
Details may evolve during development, but the principles are stable: minimise data, and keep sensitive content as close to the device as realistically possible.
- Vault content is not uploaded to Viya App Studio servers.
- If analytics are used, they will be focused on usage patterns — not on the content of your vault.
- Any analytics or crash reporting will aim to be privacy‑preserving and configurable where possible.
Common questions
What happens if I delete the app?
Deleting the app will remove all locally stored data. LockBox vault data is excluded from iCloud backups — use Settings → Export Backup before uninstalling.
Is LockBox a subscription?
Pricing is still being explored. The goal is a clear, fair model without hidden steps or confusing upgrade flows.
Can I export my vault?
Yes. Settings → Export Backup creates an encrypted .lockbox file you can save or transfer to a new device.
